Cat's dress Thursday: Lily's Second Edition

Well, it's not that hard to wear a skirt to daycare after all. I don't know why I've been prejudiced against it for so long...it's even kind of fun, I feel less frumpy. I strut more on Thursdays...

Thanks Cat! You're making me a Lady. Next step is the corset, petticoat and high-heels I guess.

The only problem is the socks really....you can see their dotted cuteness on the picture, that's why I had to lift the skirt a bit. I loved them. They are above the knee...but I keep having to pull them up, as they tend to bunch down. And this could get tiring very, very fast. I have the feeling that I will have rolled them down around my ankles before the day is over. That will be very cool-looking I'm sure.

Why can't all socks be the same?? You never know if they will be hateful like that until you wear them a whole day.

long socks on legs would be warm and snuggly. a great place to curl up after i eat my food, run up and down the stairs, eat some plastic and prowl around while you watch the light box. warm. sleeeepy.
(my pet man just look over my shoulder to see what i am typing and said, "cute woman.")

Thanks for dropping in!

Those socks ARE super cute. I just bought a bunch of OTK (over the knee) socks and can't decide how I feel about the OTK aspect. On the one hand they are nice and cozy, and under a longish skirt they look aDORable, on the other hand, there's all that yanking them back up and if a little thigh peeps out I worry my coworkers think I'm trying to be racy.

But I wore socks with cherries yesterday and they got lots of positive comments, so I guess I'll run through the entire menu.

good job bringing ladyness back! it's weird how the table and chairs are in the middle of the forest...

Princess--Thanks! I love them too, but as I expected, they were folded down before five o' clock.;P

tasterspoon--haha! Socks with cherries, I must get some of those.
I agree with the "trying to be racy" risk. It's especially there since I work with kids. That's why I try to have child-like, innocent motives....like cherries!lol

John--The forest is actually a Wall paper, I'm sure you knew that, I just had to specify, because that would be indeed weird.;P
